Sue Lewellen, Director

Has taught pre-school since 1970. Child Development Associate Credential, Director's Credential. Has lived in Plainview for her entire life. Been a Presbyterian all her life. Mother of two grown sons, a veterenian in Austin, the other a creative genius looking for the right opportunity to develop in Albuquerque. She has three beautiful precocious grand-children, Shelby (16) Elise (7), and Ethen, (4). She hangs out with husband Chris when she's not at school. She knows every Raffi silly song ever written.

Becky McCarty, Teacher

I am married to my best friend Tom. We have been married for 29 years! We have 3 children: Brenda, 20; Kayla, 14; and Zachary, 10. I also just became a NANA, and it is wonderful! I retired from teaching public school after 35 years. Teaching here is an answer to prayer and I have been richly blessed by the students and staff. My hobbies are working in the flower beds, reading and just being a Nana!

David Hawkins, Pastor/Pianist

For full Bio, click here.

David was roped into playing piano for the pre-school when the previous pianist retired. He feels that his entire life has been lived in preparation for this moment, when he can hear the children shriek with glee even on the tenth time through "The Ants Go Marching One by One", or "There's a Spider on my Leg, On My Leg" (Sung to the tune of "If You're Happy and You Know it, Clap Your Hands").
